1Surely God is good to Israel, 2But as for me, my feet almost slipped; 3because I was envious of the arrogant 4For they have no pain until their death, 5They are free from the burdens of other men; 6Pride adorns them like a necklace around their neck; 7Out of such blindness comes sin; 8They mock and speak wickedly; 9They set their mouth against the heavens, 10Therefore his people turn to them 11They say, “How does God know? 12Take notice: these people are wicked; 13Surely it is in vain that I have guarded my heart 14For all the day long I have been afflicted 15If I had said, “I will say these things,” 16Though I tried to understand these things, 17Then I went into God's sanctuary 18Surely you put them in slippery places; 19How they become a wilderness in a moment! 20They are like a dream after one wakes up; 21For my heart was grieved, 22I was ignorant and lacked insight; 23Yet I am always with you; 24You will guide me with your advice 25Whom have I in heaven but you? 26My flesh and my heart grow weak, 27Those who are far from you will perish;
