시편 119

1Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, 2Blessed are they who keep his solemn commands, 3They do no wrong; 4You have commanded us to keep your instructions 5Oh, that I would be firmly established 6Then I would not be put to shame 7I will give thanks to you with an upright heart 8I will observe your statutes; 9How can a young person keep his path pure? 10With my whole heart I seek you; 11I have stored up your word in my heart 12Blessed you are, Yahweh; 13With my mouth I have declared 14I rejoice in the way of your covenant decrees 15I will meditate on your instructions 16I delight in your statutes; 17Be kind to your servant so that I may live 18Open my eyes so that I may see 19I am a foreigner in the land; 20My desires are crushed by the longing to know 21You rebuke the proud, who are cursed, 22Spare me from disgrace and humiliation, 23Though rulers plot and slander me, 24Your covenant decrees are my delight, 25My life clings to the dust! 26I told you my ways, and you answered me; 27Make me understand the ways of your instructions, 28I am overwhelmed with grief! 29Turn from me the path of deceit; 30I have chosen the way of faithfulness; 31I cling to your covenant decrees; 32I will run in the path of your commandments, 33Teach me, Yahweh, the way of your statutes, 34Give me understanding, and I will keep your law; 35Guide me in the path of your commandments, 36Direct my heart toward your covenant decrees 37Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; 38Carry out for your servant your promise 39Take away the insults I dread, 40See, I have longed for your instructions; 41Yahweh, give me your unfailing love— 42then I will have a reply for the one who mocks me, 43Do not take the word of truth from my mouth, 44I will observe your law continually, 45I will walk securely, 46I will speak of your solemn commands before kings 47I delight in your commandments, 48I will lift up my hands to your commandments, which I love; 49Call to mind your promise to your servant 50This is my comfort in my affliction: 51The proud have scoffed at me, 52I have thought about your righteous decrees from ancient times, Yahweh, 53Hot anger has taken hold of me 54Your statutes have been my songs 55I think about your name during the night, Yahweh, 56This has been my practice 57Yahweh is my portion; 58I earnestly request your favor with my whole heart; 59I examined my ways 60I hurry and do not delay 61The cords of the wicked have ensnared me; 62At midnight I rise to give thanks to you 63I am a companion of all who honor you, 64The earth, Yahweh, is full of your covenant faithfulness; 65You have done good to your servant, 66Teach me proper discernment and understanding, 67Before I was afflicted I went astray, 68You are good, and you are one who does good; 69The arrogant have smeared me with lies, 70Their hearts are hardened, 71It is good for me that I have suffered 72Instruction from your mouth is more precious to me 73Your hands have made and fashioned me; 74Those who honor you will be glad when they see me 75I know, Yahweh, that your decrees are just, 76Let your covenant faithfulness comfort me, 77Show me compassion so that I may live, 78Let the proud be put to shame, 79May those who honor you turn to me, 80May my heart be blameless with respect to your statutes 81I faint with longing that you might rescue me! 82My eyes long to see your promise; 83For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke; 84How long must your servant endure this; 85The proud have dug pits for me, 86All your commandments are reliable; 87They have almost made an end to me on earth, 88By your steadfast love, keep me alive, 89Yahweh, your word stands forever; 90Your faithfulness lasts for all generations; 91All things continue to this day, just as you said in your righteous decrees, 92If your law had not been my delight, 93I will never forget your instructions, 94I am yours; save me, 95The wicked prepare to destroy me, 96I have seen that everything has its limits, 97Oh how I love your law! 98Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, 99I have more understanding than all my teachers, 100I understand more than those older than I am; 101I have kept my feet back from every evil path 102I have not turned aside from your righteous decrees, 103How sweet are your words to my taste, 104Through your instructions I gain discernment; 105Your word is a lamp to my feet 106I have sworn and have confirmed it, 107I am very afflicted; 108Yahweh, please accept the freewill offerings of my mouth, 109My life is always in my hand, 110The wicked have set a snare for me, 111I claim your covenant decrees as my heritage forever, 112My heart is set on obeying your statutes 113I hate those who have a double mind, 114You are my hiding place and my shield; 115Get away from me, you evil doers, 116Sustain me by your word so that I may live 117Support me, and I will be safe; 118You reject all those who stray from your statutes, 119You remove all the wicked of the earth like slag; 120My body trembles in fear of you, 121I do what is just and right; 122Guarantee the welfare of your servant; 123My eyes grow tired as I wait for your salvation 124Show your servant your covenant faithfulness, 125I am your servant; give me understanding 126It is time for Yahweh to act, 127Truly I love your commandments 128Therefore I carefully follow all your instructions, 129Your rules are wonderful, 130The unfolding of your words gives light; 131I open my mouth and pant, 132Turn to me and have mercy on me, 133Direct my footsteps by your word; 134Redeem me from human oppression 135Let your face shine on your servant, 136Streams of tears run down from my eyes 137You are righteous, Yahweh, 138You have given your covenant decrees righteously 139Anger has destroyed me 140Your word has been tested very much, 141I am insignificant and despised, 142Your justice is forever right, 143Though distress and anguish have found me, 144Your covenant decrees are righteous forever; 145I cried out with my whole heart, “Answer me, Yahweh, 146I call to you; save me, 147I rise before the dawn of the morning and cry for help. 148My eyes are open before the night watches change 149Hear my voice in your covenant faithfulness; 150Those who are persecuting me are coming closer to me, 151You are near, Yahweh, 152Long ago I learned from your covenant decrees 153Look on my affliction and help me, 154Plead my cause and redeem me; 155Salvation is far from the wicked, 156Great are your merciful actions, Yahweh; 157My persecutors and my foes are many, 158I view the treacherous with disgust 159See how I love your instructions; 160The essence of your word is truth; 161Princes persecute me without cause, 162I rejoice at your word 163I hate and despise falsehood, 164Seven times a day I praise you 165Great peace they have, those who love your law; 166I hope for your salvation, Yahweh, 167I observe your solemn commands, 168I keep your instructions and your solemn commands, 169Listen to my cry for help, Yahweh; 170May my plea come before you; 171May my lips pour out praise, 172Let my tongue sing about your word, 173May your hand help me, 174I long for your rescue, Yahweh, 175May I live and praise you,
