1These are the things concerning Israel that Amos, one of the shepherds in Tekoa, received in revelation. He received these things in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and also in the days of Jeroboam son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake. 2He said, 3This is what Yahweh says: 4I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, 5I will break the gate bars of Damascus 6This is what Yahweh says: 7I will send fire on the walls of Gaza, 8I will cut off the man who lives in Ashdod 9This is what Yahweh says: 10I will send fire on the walls of Tyre, 11This is what Yahweh says, 12I will send fire on Teman, 13This is what Yahweh says, 14I will light a fire in the walls of Rabbah,
