1“When Ephraim spoke, there was trembling. 2Now they sin more and more. 3So they will be like the morning clouds, 4But I am Yahweh your God from the land of Egypt. 5I knew you in the wilderness, 6When you had pasture, then you became full; 7I will become like a lion to them; 8I will attack them as a bear that is robbed of her cubs. 9I will destroy you, Israel; 10Where now is your king, 11I gave you a king in my anger, 12Ephraim's iniquity has been stored up; 13Pains of childbirth will come on him, 14Will I rescue them from the hand of Sheol? 15Though Ephraim is prosperous among his brothers,
