1Rescue me from my enemies, my God; 2Keep me safe from the workers of iniquity, 3For, see, they wait in ambush to take my life. 4They prepare to run at me although I am without fault; 5You, Yahweh God of hosts, the God of Israel, Selah 6They return at evening, they howl like dogs 7See, they belch out with their mouths; 8But you, Yahweh, laugh at them; 9God, my strength, I will pay attention to you; 10My God will meet me with his covenant faithfulness; 11Do not kill them, or my people will forget. 12For the sins of their mouths and the words of their lips, 13Consume them in wrath, consume them so that they will be no more; Selah 14At evening they return, 15They wander about looking for food 16But I will sing about your strength,
