สุภาษิต 16

1The plans of the heart belong to a person, 2All of a person's ways are pure in his own eyes, 3Commit your works to Yahweh 4Yahweh has made everything for its purpose, 5Yahweh hates everyone who has an arrogant heart, 6By covenant faithfulness and trustworthiness iniquity is atoned for 7When a person's ways are pleasing to Yahweh, 8Better is a little with what is right, 9In his heart a person plans out his way, 10Insightful decisions are on the lips of a king, 11Honest scales come from Yahweh; 12When kings do wicked things, that is something to be despised, 13A king delights in lips that say what is right 14A king's wrath is a messenger of death 15In the light of a king's face is life 16How much better it is to get wisdom than gold. 17The highway of upright people turns away from evil; 18Pride comes before destruction 19It is better to be humble among poor people 20Whoever contemplates what they are taught will find what is good, 21The one who is wise in heart is called discerning 22Understanding is a fountain of life to the one who has it, 23The heart of a wise person gives insight to his mouth 24Pleasant words are a honeycomb— 25There is a way that seems right to a man, 26The laborer's appetite works for him; 27A worthless person digs up mischief 28A perverse person stirs up conflict 29A man of violence lies to his neighbor 30The one who winks the eye is plotting perverse things; 31Gray hair is a crown of glory; 32It is better to be slow to anger than to be a warrior
