1In you, Yahweh, I take refuge; 2Rescue me and make me safe in your righteousness; 3Be to me a rock for refuge where I may always go; 4Rescue me, my God, out of the hand of the wicked, 5For you are my hope, Lord Yahweh. 6By you I have been supported from the womb; 7I am an example to many people; 8My mouth will be filled with your praise, 9Do not throw me away in my time of old age; 10For my enemies are talking about me; 11They say, “God has forsaken him; 12God, do not be far from me; 13Let them be put to shame and destroyed, those who are hostile to my life; 14But I will always hope in you 15My mouth will tell about your righteousness 16I will come with the mighty acts of the Lord Yahweh; 17God, you have taught me from my youth; 18Indeed, even when I am old and gray-headed, God, do not forsake me, 19Your righteousness also, God, is very high; 20You who made me see many troubles 21May you increase my honor; 22I will also give thanks to you with the harp 23My lips will shout for joy when I sing praises to you—
