1Oh, give thanks to Yahweh; for he is good, 2Oh, give thanks to the God of gods, 3Oh, give thanks to the Lord of lords, 4Give thanks to him who alone does great wonders, 5to him who by wisdom made the heavens, 6Give thanks to him who spread out the earth above the waters, 7to him who made great lights, 8Give thank to him who gave the sun to rule by day, 9the moon and stars to rule by night, 10Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt, 11and brought out Israel from among them, 12with a strong hand and a raised arm, 13Give thanks to him who divided the Sea of Reeds, 14and made Israel to pass through the middle of it, 15but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Sea of Reeds, 16Give thanks to him who led his people through the wilderness, 17to him who killed great kings, 18Give thanks to him who killed famous kings, 19Sihon king of the Amorites, 20and Og king of Bashan, 21Give thanks to him who gave their land as an inheritance, 22an inheritance to Israel his servant, 23to him who called us to mind and helped us in our humiliation, 24Give thanks to him who has given us victory over our enemies, 25who gives food to all living beings,
