Proverbs 2

1My son, if you receive my words 2make your ears pay attention to wisdom 3If you cry out for understanding 4if you seek it like you would seek silver 5then you will understand the fear of Yahweh 6For Yahweh gives wisdom, 7He stores up sound wisdom for those who please him, 8he guards the paths of justice 9Then you will understand righteousness, justice, and equity, 10For wisdom will come into your heart, 11Discretion will watch over you, 12They will rescue you from the way of evil, 13who abandon the right paths 14They rejoice when they do evil 15They follow crooked paths, 16Wisdom and discretion will save you from an adulterous woman, 17She forsakes the companion of her youth 18For her house leads down to death 19All who go in to her will not return again 20So you will walk in the way of good people 21For those doing right will make a home in the land,
