Ψαλμοί 9

1I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart; 2I will be glad and rejoice in you; 3When my enemies turn back, 4For you have defended my just cause; 5You rebuked the nations; 6The enemy crumbled like ruins 7But Yahweh remains forever; 8He will judge the world with righteousness, 9Yahweh also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, 10Those who know your name trust in you, 11Sing praises to Yahweh, who rules in Zion; 12For the God who avenges bloodshed remembers; 13Have mercy on me, Yahweh; see how I am oppressed by those who hate me, 14Oh, that I might proclaim all your praise. 15The nations have sunk down into the pit that they made; 16Yahweh has made himself known; he has executed judgment; Selah 17The wicked are turned back and sent to Sheol, 18For the needy will not always be forgotten, 19Arise, Yahweh; do not let man win against you;
