The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

Proverbs 9:10

**Reflection:** To fear the Lord is not to tremble before a tyrant, but to stand in breathless wonder before the very source of all existence — recognizing that we are creatures held in the hands of the Creator. This holy reverence becomes the fertile soil from which all true wisdom grows, for wisdom is not merely information accumulated, but life rightly oriented toward its Author. To know the Holy One is to press your ear against the heartbeat of Reality itself, discovering that understanding is never a purely intellectual achievement but a relational encounter. The wisest person in any room is not the one with the most answers, but the one most humbly aware of standing before the inexhaustible mystery of a God who is both infinite and intimately near. In surrendering our pride at the altar of divine reverence, we paradoxically gain the clearest sight we have ever known.
