I. Ahaziah was the shame of it as a partaker, 1. In the sin, and, 2. In the destruction, of the house of Ahab (Ch2 22:1-9). II. Athaliah was the plague of it, for she destroyed all the seed-royal, and usurped the throne (Ch2 22:10-12).
